David Milner MEng is the Managing Director at Create Streets, an urban design consultancy, town builder and think tank. He is currently leading on a wide range of strategic advice, master-planning, transport and street design projects. 

David is a member of the Oxford to Cambridge Integrated Transport Taskforce and also sat on the Department for Transport’s Capital Review Panel of major infrastructure projects.

David has a passion for how transport and urban design can create a more prosperous, successful and greener country, having authored papers such as Back on Track, Computer Says Road and Stepping Off the Road to Nowhere. Previously, he worked for 6 years as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force. 

David has a Master of Engineering from the University of Oxford, sits on the design review panels for Somerset, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the Midlands and Reading, and has lectured on design at the University of Oxford.
