Deadline extended for Mass Transit Taskforce call for evidence
The deadline for submissions to the Mass Transit Taskforce’s call for evidence has been extended by one week – now closing on 7 September.
The extension is to allow additional time for companies and organisations from the construction, utilities and engineering sectors to submit valuable evidence, which could help to shape the recommendations of the Taskforce.
The independent Mass Transit Taskforce was established by Government in May to tackle barriers to the quick and efficient delivery of mass transit systems across the UK.
The call for evidence opened on 22 June and has run over the summer months, originally scheduled to close on 31 August.
The call for evidence is collecting submissions across 12 themes, which have been chosen to understand the challenges and opportunities there may exist at each stage of a mass transit scheme, from inception to public operation.
Organisations interested in submitting evidence should do so by the new deadline of 11.59pm on Monday 7 September.
