Organisational Development group - Terms of Reference

The Organisational Development Group: 

  • is composed of senior Organisational Development (OD) and Human Resources (HR) colleagues from UTG’s member organisations 

  • shares information and best practice on OD and organisational change matters and identifies and implements consequent actions and ways of working 

  • identifies and promotes best practice in the continuing development of OD and organisational change approaches, policies and procedures 

  • provides a forum for support, advice and sharing of information in relation to OD issues  

  • identifies areas for potential collaboration and sharing of resources in order to increase efficiency and to cut costs across UTG members 

  • shares thinking, actions, programmes to attract, retain and manage talent and succession planning and identify best practice, including addressing underrepresented groups at senior levels  

  • shares best practice to ensure compliance with Equal Opportunities legislation and enhance Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) within the workforce 

  • shares information and best practice in Learning and Development (L&D) 

 

Ways of working: 

The group currently meets online with meetings every one to two months. Regular meetings are also held focusing on EDI or L&D topics.
