Saila has been with the Urban Transport Group (formerly pteg) since it was created in 2003. She is responsible for leading, managing and coordinating the overal administration and day to day operation of the Urban Transport Group and providing high level confidential support to the Director, as well as leading and managing the delivery of the UTG Leadership Academy. She also takes a lead role in managing UTG Corporate events and adminsters the APPG.

Saila worked for the Queensland Government in Australia for 13 years providing high level support to Departmental Directors.

Saila completed a first class honours degree in Human Resource Management and Business at Leeds Beckett University in 2022 and is an Associate Member of the CIPD.
